NON-SAG (THIXOTROPIC) PROPERTIES
Thixotropic adhesives are designed to stay where they are applied. Unlike flowable epoxies, Hysol® 9462, TBX-460 and TBX-462 maintain their shape after dispensing, providing excellent gap-filling capability and preventing sagging or running on vertical and overhead surfaces. When building giant-scale aircraft, adhesive control matters. The thixotropic formulations of TBX-460 and TBX-462 stay exactly where they're placed, making them ideal for vertical surfaces, large bond gaps, and structural assemblies where movement or sagging is unacceptable.
